Cuban Mojo Seasoning
Ybor City was built by Cuban cigar workers in the 1880s, a self-contained Cuban community in Tampa that was also home to Spanish, Italian, and Afro-Cuban immigrants who created one of the most distinctive food cultures on the Gulf Coast. The mojo tradition, citrus, garlic, cumin, oregano, is Ybor City's contribution to Florida's table. This blend carries that Cuban citrus-garlic heat: bright with sour orange peel, warm with cumin and oregano, the mojo flavor in dry form. Use it on pork, chicken, black beans, and anything going on the grill.
Best for: roast pork & lechón, chicken, plantains, black beans & rice, yuca, shrimp, marinade
A little goes a long way, start with a pinch.
