The Giving Table

Every Seat Has a Story.

Every blend in the Simply Greer Pantry traces back to a specific community, a specific history, a specific people. The Giving Table is how we honor that.

What Is The Giving Table?

A commitment, not a collection plate.

The Giving Table is the giving arm of the Simply Greer brand — one of three related efforts: the Simply Greer Pantry (the blends), the forthcoming Simply Greer cookbook, and The Giving Table (the way good work returns to the communities that made it possible).

It isn't a charity you donate to. It's a commitment the brand makes with every sale.

How It Works

Proceeds follow the story.

A portion of proceeds from each blend goes back to the communities those recipes draw from — food banks, cultural organizations, and meal programs serving the people whose traditions live in these jars.

Where It Goes

Our first named partner: Penn Center.

Gullah Gold draws from Gullah Geechee foodways — rice culture, benne seeds, field peas, the Low Country table. A portion of Gullah Gold proceeds supports Penn Center on St. Helena Island, SC — founded 1862, one of the oldest historically Black institutions in America, preserving Gullah Geechee language, culture, and heritage.

Our Commitment

Honor made concrete.

Honoring those stories in copy is necessary. The Giving Table is how that honor becomes concrete action.

The Giving Table is currently a program of Simply Greer Fine Foods LLC, working toward independent nonprofit status.
